Long Island Crisis Center provides free, confidential, and non-judgmental programs and services to support and empower Long Islanders at critical times in their lives.


Through our 24-hour, seven-day-a-week, crisis hotlines, and live online and mobile chat, we provide short-term crisis counseling, information, and referrals on a wide range of issues, including:

-Depression

-Family Communication

-Non Suicidal Self-Injury

-LGBTQ+

-Substance Abuse

-Child Abuse

-Intimate Partner Violence

-Sexual Assault

-Suicide Prevention

-Runaway and Homeless Youth

LICC is here when you need help the most, any time of day or night. Our knowledgeable counselors can answer your questions, connect you with helpful programs and services, or simply listen with empathy, care, and attention.
