Like you, Long Island Crisis Center is deeply troubled by the recent acts of racism, bigotry, and violence perpetrated by white nationalist and white supremacist hate groups. We strongly condemn these behaviors and beliefs as destructive, oppressive, and antithetical to our moral values. Long Island Crisis Center will continue to speak out, and fight against oppression in all its forms, including racism, sexism, Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, and homophobia/transphobia. We will continue to support and stand in solidarity with those who are most vulnerable among us: People of Color, the LGBTQ community, religious minorities, and all other marginalized groups. We also call on our elected officials to publicly acknowledge and denounce these acts of white supremacist hatred. Together, we can create a brighter future for all, and ensure a more just world for future generations.
